Content Inside: MY REVIEW, MAZDA CX-7 ========================== I read the Road and Track and Edmunds reviews first. I ruled out odd sport suvs and the Subaru/Hyundai/Kia Suv variants and went straight for either: a) Superior Luxury of the Toyota Rav 4 with greater storage interior volume and highly reliable 269 HP V-6 engine, dual electric seats, Dual AC, and the nice swing sideways loading hatch b)Sportier (muffled squeal) of the crisp Mazda CX-7, shown to have Superior Brakes, more neutral and precise steering, unimpinged by the Rav4's so called "Nanny" level of stability control, which greatly reduces sporting fun. The Mazda is the Drivers (Guy) car, at 244 HP. And much better looking than almost every suv out there... Buy your wife/daughter the Toyo or a Honda Odyssey... If you want something of a serious drivers ideal crossover vehicle, this is it. A+ rating, Mazda, it's a $30,000 car that thinks it's a $40,000 car! FAVORITE FEATURES =================== Fantastic handling - most neutral, most practical Sport FWD anywhere near this price. Info display that's near windshield level Tasty silver trim over black leather interior So many Mazda p E R F O R M A N C e parts available... SUGGESTED IMPROVEMENTS ========================== 1- Select Shift modes for "Sport and Economy", useful when Touring... 2- Boost and other engine data/temps type gauges 3- Right side Electric Seat Option (wifey sez so) 4- Factory R version with intake/intercooler, minor Boost bumpup... we can dream eh?
