TEXAS INDEPENDENT ENERGY GUADALUPE POWER STATION MARION, TEXAS
DESCRIPTION: Texas Independent Energy (TIE) owns and operates the Guadalupe Power Station located in Marion, Texas near San Antonio. This 1,000 MW combined cycle power plant contains four GE 7FA+e DLN 2.6 gas turbines and two 200 MW GE steam turbines. NAES performed two hot gas path inspections and steam turbine remedial maintenance during the spring 2007 outage season. SERVICES PROVIDED: Unit 4 gas turbine: · Compressor R-O blade replacement · Turbine shell lead repair Unit 2 hot gas path inspection: · Turbine bucket replacement · Realignment of unit including generator · Compressor section inspection · Bearing replacements Unit 3 hot gas path inspection: · Turbine bucket replacement · Realignment of unit including generator · Compressor inspection Unit 2 steam turbine generator: · Hydrogen seal replacement All inspections were completed ahead of schedule and without safety issues.
