Tools Required Flat Blade Screwdriver #1 Phillips Screwdriver #2 Phillips Screwdriver 4 mm Hex Allen Key 8 mm Socket or Spanner 10 mm Socket or Spanner Remove components in the following order: · · · · · · · · · Windshield Belly Pan (Both halves) Cowling Upper Trim Panels Meter Cover Rear View Mirrors Upper Cowling (After disconnecting the turn signal wires and headlamp connectors) Main Cowling Panels left and right side Main Cowling Inner Panels left and right side Headlight Assembly
Keep all hardware (hex screws, washers, spacers, nuts and bolts) in order, separated and labeled, some parts although similar in appearance are in fact of different lengths and thicknesses. Use care with painted and plastic parts, they are easily damaged. Work inside in a clear and well lit area. Store items carefully and out of harms way when not being worked on.
